New year

A new year, a new design, and hopefully more updates to fill this page.

Without further ado; here's the first of 2011..

The Kinect: All I can say is "WOW". This piece of tech from Microsoft has made the Wii look archaic and the Move look like a kiddie toy.

I've played Kinect Adventures, Dance Central and Your Shape: Fitness Evolved. These are excellent games if you can call the last one a game.
No more holding the controller to do something and voice recognition thrown in for flavor.
When I first tried it, I thought "this has some great potential.. especially on the adult market" and by adult market I do mean a pornographic game.. it will come out and you won't be able to buy it in the usual retail outlets.
But enough of that.. the Kinect is a must have for anyone who wants to get the Minority Report feel when sliding through the menus and the Star Trek feel by telling the Xbox to "Play", "Open Tray" etc.
I know there will those out there that don't think highly of the Kinect because it is a product of M$ but those people can keep the dayglo balls on the Wii 2.0(PS3Move).

I really think Microsoft has taken the motion control aspect of gaming to the next level and I hope 2011 proves to be a great year for the Kinect.
