Blizzard puh-leez

So today blizzard announces:

Battle.net Mobile Authenticator Now Available for More Phones
The Battle.net Mobile Authenticator, an optional security tool to help prevent unauthorized Battle.net account access, is now available for a wide range of mobile phones and carriers in the United States and Europe. Previously available only for the Apple iPhone, the Battle.net Mobile Authenticator is a mobile application that generates a one-time password to use in addition to your regular account ID and password when logging in to a Battle.net account or any merged World of Warcraft accounts.

Visit mobile.blizzard.com to purchase the application for 99 cents, or to download Blizzard Entertainment ringtones for $1.50 each and wallpapers for 99 cents apiece. iPhone and iPod touch users can download the Battle.net Mobile Authenticator for free from the Apple App Store. For more information, visit www.battle.net/bma or check out the Battle.net Mobile Authenticator FAQ.
So I think "cool I can now get it for my Blackberry Curve 8330". I go to the page to find out not only is my phone not listed but my carrier Verizon isn't listed either.. WTF??!!??

They are supporting the 8300, 8310, and 8320.. very odd. What makes it even more of a slap in the face is that those user that have the iPod touch or iPhone get the exact same app for FREE.. compounded with not having Verizon as a choice for my carrier this really is beginning to get on my nerves.

The original blizzard authenticator costs $6.50 but here lately(past 3 months or so) they are still sold out.

I know $1 isn't much but really, it's free for some users but not all.. not really fair is it?
Guess I should have ponied up the obscene amount of $$ for an iPod touch or iPhone and gone with a sub par carrier.
